Our photography style is very natural and organic with gentle posing. We are 'minimalists' when it comes to props to keep the focus on the baby. We photograph soft colors, neutral/organic tones to keep the style very cohesive throughout the session. Our studio is fully stocked with everything we need, so you do not have to provide any props for the session and we prefer a wrapped baby over outfits.
Newborn sessions are temporarily booked for your due date and then moved once baby is earth-side. All newborn sessions take place in the morning or early afternoons while we have the best light in the studio. We also offer in-home lifestyle newborn sessions which are much less posed than a studio session. (Travel fees may apply.) As our calendar does tend to fill up quickly, we recommend booking your session while you are in your second trimester.

Fresh 48 sessions are held within the first 24-48 hours of your baby's life at your chosen birth space (hospital, home, birth center - some travel fees may apply). This is not a traditional newborn session; there will not be props or posing. Just natural reactions and first time emotional meetings. A perfect way to remember such an important day.

how to book
1. when you’re ready to book; shoot us an email with your due date and we will temporarily schedule you for your due date. Once baby is earth-side, let us know, and we will get you scheduled for your shoot date within the first 18 days.
2. review and sign your contract
3. pay your retainer fee (50% non refundable retainer fee due at the time of book and the other is due 7 days prior to our session)
4. get excited for our session while we send you the pre-session consultation and styling guide
We book popular dates about 5 weeks in advance so as soon as you’re sure that we are a perfect match, get in touch and avoid disappointment - we want to be there!
low key policies and procedures
Due to limited session days and times, your retainer fee is non-refundable and only allowed to be transferred to another date ONCE. If you cannot make it to the scheduled session, please let us know within 24 hours so we can schedule the session for another open day/time.
While our goal is for you to be absolutely in love with your photos and we will work with you to make sure you’re 100% satisfied, please keep in mind that due to the custom nature of the products, all sales are final. If a reshoot is warranted it must be scheduled within 4 weeks of your original session or else session will be forfeited.
All images will be purged (deleted) 6 months after your session. You are required to backup and store your images. We do not sell our digital negatives and we choose all images given to clients based on our artistic opinion. All images given to client will be hand edited and may not be re-edited, including Instagram filters.
